It seems that Facebook’s privacy settings are coming back to bite them, as a settlement has been reached in Facebook’s “Sponsored Stories” case. The $10 million that Facebook will pay out, will go to various consumer rights groups who were involved in the case or not. This payout serves as a charitable donation and doesn’t reflect the other $10 million that Facebook will have to pay in legal fees. Is this case enough to change Facebook’s privacy policies, or is this just another bump in the road for the social media conglomerate?
