New changes are always happening to social media sites. Sometimes the changes will benefit users, while other times the changes cause disadvantages. For nonprofits, the change in the Facebook algorithm meant that branded pages lost about 6.5 percent of their reach, and lost 45 percent of their “virality.” But luckily there are ways to combat the change.
One of the ways to fight the change is to make sure the timing of your content released is right. Post content on times like the weekend, when the most shares happen. Also remember to use balanced content and to understand what makes your users ‘like’ and unfollow your organization.
