Scrunchies, denim overalls (or any kind for that matter) and suspenders are gone—c’est la vie. (Well, never say never when it comes to those hipsters.) But for the most part, you’d be seen as out of date (and probably giggled at) if you stepped out of your house in any of these old school fashion statements.
Your nonprofit website should also never wear metaphorical denim overalls. You want your website to be cool, hip and up-to-date, right? Well here’s our first tip: never have the word “Welcome” anywhere in your nonprofit web design. It’s a surefire way to be labeled as uncool as parents in middle school—the horror.
