Put Your Minds Together for Performance Reviews

June 18th, 2012

A performance review can be a little intimidating for the employee, but possibly ineffective for the manager giving the review. Quite often, a performance review doesn’t really do the trick because if doesn’t effectively evaluate the work that employee has done. It isn’t fair to the employee and certainly isn’t fair to your nonprofit.

That is why it might be a good idea to crowdsource your nonprofit’s performance reviews. Getting multiple perspectives on one’s review can bring in different opinions and suggestions for how an employee can tweak his/her performance. It also allows for performance to be checked on more frequently throughout the year, allowing for more accurate and useful advice when the time comes.
