Proof That Showing Gratitude is Important

October 10th, 2012

A sincere “thank you” can go a long way. Those who say that thank you notes are archaic or out-of-date don’t recognize the joy that one might get from a handwritten note or phone call.

One study found that, not only was positivity inforced, but thanking people for their donations resulted in more future contributions as well.

You might even try having the thank you come from the people that the money went to. It’s likely that a thank you coming from your mission statement will energize them to give more, so make your mission more personal to donors and be more sincere.
