Writing grants and connecting with certain groups or corporations should be on every nonprofit’s radar. Sure a lot of the money your nonprofit will fundraise will come from individuals, but having that tie in with for profit organizations could help you with fundraising events and persuading potential donors to donate to your cause.

That being said, grants are a little scary. When you picture a grant, you see endless amounts of paperwork and drafts, but not with online grants. Online grants save you time and money, as well as being “green.” Don’t think that just because it’s online you don’t have to put more work into it. Online grants should have the same fair shake as a physical grant.
