Like with any other organization or business, you want a capable leader in charge of operations. But how can that leader be held accountable? Some may say that measuring performance isn’t the way to go because sometimes physical numbers don’t represent the true effect of the leader. More often than not though, donation numbers and other performance numbers are the only true way to actually tell whether or not a leader is doing his or her job. There could be other factors.
But in the end, if the numbers aren’t positive, the leader’s performance isn’t positive either.
