Your fundraising team and board of directors lead your organization with a mind to extend your reach, improve effectiveness and—most of all—to last. Without a long-term nonprofit sustainability plan a great fundraiser or a skilled board of directors won’t make a bit of difference.

A sustainability strategy, however, can make the difference between a strong nonprofit and a floundering one. But incorporating a sustainability plan is more involved than deciding your nonprofit needs one.
